Update Details:

• General maintenance of all servers.
• Event Map Movement System Update: On regular sub-servers, players must first move to the Event Map before entering an event. On VIP sub-servers, players can move directly from regular maps into events.
• Offlevel System Update: Attack speed will be reduced compared to the current settings. The Offlevel system is intended to help players reduce the number of active game windows, rather than completely replace active leveling.
• VIP Duration Transfer Feature: Update to the VIP duration transfer feature on the official website.
• Mini Boss Updates: Updated Mini Bosses Balrock, Hydra, and Zaikan (1 per map) in Lost Tower, Atlans, and Tarkan, spawning daily at 08:00 and 20:00 on VIP sub-servers only. Each boss drops 1 item: Ancient Items, Jewel Bundles (x5), AA1 + Luck/EXL, or Mastery Box (Minor).
• Preparation for the IGCN Big Update: Preparing for a major IGCN update that will introduce numerous fixes and feature improvements. This update will also lay the foundation for the upcoming MU Online Season 22.
• Increased the login limit per IP from 20 to 24. The login limit per HWID remains unchanged at 12.
• Increased Red Dragon HP and updated drops to Jewel of Bless/Jewel of Soul x1. This event will be reworked in the future, including changes to drops and spawn maps.

Updated Blood Castle 1 event rewards: Removed Jewel of Bless and Jewel of Soul from the victory rewards. Rewards for other levels remain unchanged.

This event replaces the Daily Check-in Event and is designed to reward players who are committed to staying with LifeMU for the long term.

Maintenance Time: 17:00 – 19:30, October 8, 2026

Maintenance Details:

• Full maintenance of the International Server.
• Fix the unexpected DMG changes affecting several classes after the maintenance on October 4, 2026. DMG values will be restored to their pre-maintenance state.
• Increase the Party Level Gap from 100 to 150 (the maximum level difference between party members to receive EXP).
• The in-game check-in event has been discontinued after one month due to occasional errors encountered by some players during the check-in process.
• A gift-claiming event for VIP accounts has been introduced (replacing the check-in event).

Upcoming Class Reworks for MU Online Season 21

• According to information provided by IGCN, MU Online Season 22 is already running in a fairly complete state.
• Some of the class changes introduced in Season 22 will be brought to MU Online Season 21 in an upcoming update, which is expected within the next few weeks. These changes will be similar to those in Season 22, although they will be somewhat limited compared to the full Season 22 implementation.
• Once MU Online Season 22 is fully completed and stable, LifeMU plans to proceed with the Season 22 update across all servers.

What's New in Season 22 Part 1-1?

• The biggest change is the rework of three classes: Dark Knight, Rage Fighter, and Slayer. IGCN has made significant changes to their skill systems, including skill damage, Mana/AG consumption, skill range, elemental values, and the 4th Skill Tree.
• Dark Knight: A new Rage Attack Power system has been introduced. Several Death Stab Master Skills are replaced by Fire Blow enhancements.
• Rage Fighter: New Attack Power types have been introduced: Melee, Area, and Divine.
• Slayer: A new Darkness Attack Power system has been introduced.
• Dark Knight and Slayer skills no longer rely on the previous Skill Attack Power (%) bonus.
• Mastery and Legendary weapons receive increased Damage and Combat Power.
• The maximum Attack Speed limit has been reduced.
• Several general DMG formulas have been adjusted based on the new version.

In addition, Season 22 introduces a reworked monster movement system, making the actual positions of monsters more accurately match what players see on their screens. Monster chasing and pathfinding have also been improved.

The Hunting Record now displays Base EXP and Bonus EXP separately alongside Total EXP. Quests have been expanded up to Level 1800, and MU Helper now supports the new hunting area entrances in Aquila's Temple.

Maintenance Details

• General server maintenance.
• Optimize the 3D Camera system.
• Update the new Anti-Hack System.
• Update the new Stake System packages.
• Update and improve the Reconnect System.
• Adjust Elite HP/SD Potions to a maximum stack of 5 potions. Players currently holding stacks of more than 5 are advised to split them before the maintenance begins.
• Fix the CTRL+F system when a character is killed by monsters or other players.

Maintenance Time: 09:00 – 12:00, September 27, 2026

• After the maintenance, players will need to run the Launcher Update before entering the game. If the update cannot be completed successfully, please download the latest client or the latest Patch from the official website.

Maintenance Details:

• Full server maintenance.
• Update to the graphics system, with the game running at a stable 25 FPS. Events with a large number of participating players will no longer experience significant FPS drops as in previous versions. This update is intended to improve the gameplay experience, especially during Arca War.
• Update to the new 3D Camera system: Character nameplates and HP bars will dynamically resize based on their distance from the camera. Damage numbers will rotate according to the camera angle instead of remaining at a fixed default angle.
• Change the reward for the quest that previously granted a Uniria to another item, as Uniria no longer drops in newer versions.

• Preparation for the Arca War event this weekend.
• Adjusted the character respawn coordinates when moving to Ferea, expanding the respawn area.
• Added an Event Schedule notification system to the website. (The link will be updated after the maintenance is completed.)
• Added a Boss Kill & Respawn Timer system to the website, displaying when bosses are defeated and their expected respawn times. (The link will be updated after the maintenance is completed.)

Maintenance Details:

• Perform scheduled server maintenance.
• Add the Aida NPC to the Tarkan map.
• Update the Drop System:
  • Remove Medal and Heart drops from the early-game maps.
  • Adjust Jewel drop rates based on character level, map level, and monster level.
  • The greater the level difference between the character and the monster, the lower the drop rate. For example, high-level characters farming on low-level maps will experience progressively reduced drop rates based on the map level.
  • High-level characters farming on maps appropriate for their level will not be affected by this adjustment.
• Prepare for the Crywolf Fortress Defense Event.
• Fix several remaining issues from the current version.
